Even though it’s a relative newcomer to the DIY home power plan market, Home Made Power Plant is an excellent product. Our only negative regarding this product is that it’s very new on the market. That’s not to say that the information isn’t as good as the other guides, it’s just that it hasn’t had a chance to completely prove itself.

This guide does have some excellent drawings and diagrams that easily lead you through the building process. Like our first choice, this plan is basically foolproof.

Overall, we really like this guide. It’s got some great drawings and very concise instructions. One thing worth noting is that all of these plans are good, and will adequately provide all the necessary diagrams, parts lists, and instructions that are necessary to build a fully functional windmill or solar cell/solar panel. Rest assured that no matter which one you choose, you’ll have no problem with any of them. That said, some of them are inherently better than the others for various reasons that are worth considering.
